We were in Maui with our great friends Scott and Tiffany Hardy:
The water was so smooth that morning. It was very quiet and peaceful (I won't mention that I got sea sick on the way out -- and yes there were hardly any waves but I just don't have any sea legs!)
Here we are in our fins getting ready to jump in and swim with the giant turtles and colorful fish.
If you look closely at the picture below (just to the right of our kayak - the yellow one) you can see the tail of a whale. It was awesome and maybe a little scary to be that close to a whale.
You can't beat spending your birthday in Maui! It was great.
Scott celebrated his birthday while we were in Maui -- his parents and sister were also in Maui at the same time. Our good friends Ben and Michelle Cook were also in Maui and they came to dinner with us!

Jon was up early every morning getting some work done so when the nights came he tended to "nap" on us. We were waiting for a magic show in this picture.
