Birthdays, Beach Cabanas, Kayaks and Whales

I wish I had pictures to share but my computer crashed when I got home from Hawaii last week and it has been sent to my dad to be fixed. I will post pictures as soon as I get it back.

We had a great time! Can you beat spending your birthday on the beach? I enjoyed telling everyone it was my birthday, too! Did it matter? Nobody knew me! It started out as a joke and then I had fun telling the waiter, cabana boy (he wasn't as cute as my husband :-)people on the elevator, people on the beach.

We kayaked with the whales, I mean 50 feet from a whale. That was a little scary but anyone who knows my sweet husband knows he is going to get as close as he can. Me, little yellow kayak, big whale = a little nervous me! We could sit in our kayak and hear them under the water. I kept looking down waiting for it to jump and knock me out of my kayak. Our guide said "just remember to look at me and smile, I will get it on camera" We snorkeled with huge turtles and very colorful fish.

It was a relaxing week and we had a blast with good friends. Hopefully pictures will be posted soon!
