After dinner we headed back to our friends house for dessert and games until we welcomed in 2009. The guys played a little ping pong:

And then we filled out our 2009 predictions. What do I predict for 2009?
2008 was a very interesting year for our family. I was glad to see it come to a close. There were some trials we faced in 2008 that we didn't anticipate and some of the trials will carry into 2009. In the midst of the trials we faced or are facing I can still recognize and feel grateful for the continued blessings we receive as a family. There are so many blessings that outnumber the trials! I am anxious for 2009 but have the faith and strength to move forward and hope for a better year to come.
