Jon took the kids and Grandma Bonnie to sled on Christmas Eve day:
They had a great time and only had a few people on our neighborhood sledding hill. We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Pollock. They left on Saturday after Christmas. Jon and I started a project around the house .... more details to follow.
Jon took the kids to tube at a local ski resort the week after Christmas. He was going to take them skiing but decided he wanted Blake to come too. So they headed out to tube. They had fun but were ready to leave after about 2 hours because it was so cold. It looks like they got hot chocolate to help them warm up!
Now about that project: TJ has been wanting to move down to the basement and Lindsey has wanted her own room. We started moving all of the rooms around and I got the great idea to paint these new rooms. I think Jon was ready to go back to work! I don't have pictures of the finished rooms yet but will add them soon! We painted TJ's new room green.
And yes, I decided I wanted to paint Lindsey's room with vertical stripes. After 4 hours spent on taping Lindsey's room (that doesn't count TJ's room) Jon regretted ever agreeing to my Christmas break projects!
