Is there any other way to spend your spring break than at the beach? No -- especially when you see that Minneapolis got snow the week we were at the beach. We started Friday and got there on Saturday (yes -- we drove from Minneapolis to Destin, Fl). We left in the middle of a snow storm and we were very glad to be getting out of town. Nothing like a great road trip. We were in Destin for a week and then stopped by my parents in Alabama on our way back.
We had a great time. The girls made a mermaid in the sand (it looked great), Blake had a nap after his dad gave him some benadryl, I got sonic almost everyday -- we had a great time and were glad to get a break from the snow. We got back Sunday and had snow all day Monday -- how depressing! I asked Jon how many more winters I had to experience here before we could move to a warmer climate?
Jon and I are off on Thursday to Utah for a BYU football alumni event. Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Jim are here visiting and will be taking care of the kids.
