So Many Things, So Little Time

So much has been happening in the last few weeks: TJ's birthday, Ashley's birthday, Ashley's baptism, a trip to Utah and the great news of a job for Jon and the relief that we get to leave the drama of the last several months behind.

The sports have started in full swing for me and I can't be in 4 places at one time .... HELP!! TJ is playing Lacrosse, Lindsey's first softball tournament is this weekend and Ashley & Blake have started soccer.

TJ turned 14 this year .... HOLY COW!! He is now 5'10" and weighs 147 lbs. He got a bike for his birthday ... hopefully he will use it this summer.

Here is one quick picture of my trip to Utah. I had a great time with friends and was so sad to see the weekend come to an end.

Once I was home, it was busy, busy for me. I planted my flowers before my mom and dad came and before the lunch at my house Saturday for Ashley's baptism.

I may be a little (lot) partial but this little girl below is so pretty and was just glowing at her baptism on Saturday. We are so proud of her!!

We were so glad my mom and dad made the drive from Alabama to be here for this special day. And I got to spend Mother's Day with my mom!!

We had a house full but what a great day. We are so blessed with great friends and family that were with us to celebrate Ashley and her special day.

As for the new job, it is such a blessing and I didn't think I would feel so happy to be able to stay in MN but right now this is where we need to be. The stress of the last several months became very hard in the month of April but we continued to have our faith (led by my amazing friend and companion ... I couldn't do anything without him by my side .... JON).

Now it is time to look forward and make sure we are making the right decisions and teaching our kids what they need to succeed in this life and beyond.
