Well, after almost two weeks of TJ complaining that his arm hurt (due to snowboarding off of a skate board ramp), Jon told me I should probably take him to the doctor. We went last Friday and then to the Orthopedic today. He has a "bulge" fracture and has to have his arm in a cast for two weeks. It has been interesting to tell both doctors that he complained about if for about a week and a half. Of course, to be fair, he did tell his dad about it first and I just found out it hurt last week. I don't think I would have done anything different.
When we were waiting for the X-Ray results last Friday, I told him if they came back negative he was going to have to start using his arm more and stop complaining -- UH - OH. He quickly reminded me that I had said that after we saw the X-Rays.
12 1/2 years and 4 kids later and this is our first broken bone -- pretty impressive. They obviously don't take after their dad who was called "crash and burn" as a little boy. The jury is still out on Blake and the doctor today said he thought I would be back before to long after he watched Blake in his office today.
